Top 20 Reasons to Love a Vampire

In my versions of vampires, there is something incredibly seductive about them. Vampires are:

1)      Hypnotic – can use compulsion to make you do, believe, and feel a certain way.

2)      Beautiful – beyond human beauty.

3)      Youthful

4)      Strong

5)      Fast

6)      Can Shapeshift – how do you think they can turn into bats? They can even turn into wolves.

7)      Can control their darkness

8)      Their blood can heal

9)      Sexy and Alluring, they are meant to attract

10)   Incredibly romantic, their love lasts forever

11)   Can fly

12)   Can transport

13)   Can dreamwalk (PULSE vampires can)

14)   Can change weather

15)   Can communicate telepathically

16)   Very Loyal and devoted

17)   Can blend into their environment and appear human

18)   Doesn’t need to get naked or ruin clothing after shifting

19)    Can be genteel, gentle when they feed

20)   Immortal

While I love werewolves, too (I have lovable sexy werewolves in three book series – Logan in Bitter Frost, Rio in The Wordwick Games, and Kevin in The Wicked Woods), here I’m team vampire.  There’s something about vampires that screams romance and passion to me. It could be because to me, Dracula is the ultimate romantic, who has searched for centuries to find his love. Although I have a different take on Bram Stoker’s Dracula in The Stoker Sisters, he is and will always be the ultimate seducer.  The vampires in my book series (PULSE, The Stoker Sisters, and The Wicked Woods) are all seductive, but what makes them most alluring, to me, is their love for humanity and the sacrifice they make to fall in love with a human.
